Snow condition

The amount of snow is not exactly great. But ski tours are possible. There is enough to start from the valleys, but the snow cover is thin in the forest. The southern sides are slowly thawing out again and the mountain pine belts are only partially covered in snow.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

The quality of the snow varies between "verfahren", hard snow, powder and firn. On the north side, above an altitude of around 1600m, you can even find good powder snow in shady and windless places. As long as the moderate visibility allowed it, we were even able to make some nice turns today.

Risks

The situation is quite favorable. Due to the relatively bad weather with heavy cloud cover, the diurnal warming was not so strong.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

After the sunny and powdery days during the week in East Tyrol, today's tour was a nice end to the ski week. The classification of the tour in the north-western Lechtal would perhaps also be possible under the category "Arlberg" or Warth.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
