Snow condition

Top for the end of November. Wiesn takes you into the valley. Of course there is rock contact every now and then.

Snow quality

Hammer powder. At 2000, it's just under half a meter of powder. We were in the lee of the Alpspitze. It was snowing in the finest flakes.

Troughs and other terrain traps are uncomfortable due to the lack of a base.

Overall impression

Besser geht der Saisonauftakt kaum. Hätte mir nicht erträumen lassen, im November schon so viele Faceshots zu sammeln. Der Untergrund sollte halt nicht zu steinig sein.
