Snow condition

Down in the valley it has rained all the snow away. Only on the north side are descents into the valley still possible with slopes or by unbuckling again and again. However, from 1500 meters onwards, the snow cover is closed again with 5 cm on the mountain to 25 cm of fresh snow on a firm to hard base. Much of the snow has been displaced by the strong winds of the last few days

Snow quality

hard hardpack, ice and some powder, but really only in areas with absolutely no wind. Those who found them were able to enjoy a few nice turns. North side from 1700 meters

Not quite so heickel - but still with small-scale disturbance-prone drifts to be expected

Overall impression

Ohne Erwartungen gestartet dann doch auf 1700 - 2200 Metern in mit etwas Geländeübersicht in windeberuhigten Hängen guten gepressten Pulver gefunden. Jetzt wird's wieder Zeit für nachschub an Neuschnee
