Expandable, in the middle altitude band between approx. 1700-2000 m and the northern sector good 3*, above and below rather too little and therefore 2*.

Snow quality

The 5-10cm of fresh snow from Wednesday lies on the north side on a rather firm, but not necessarily hard base, in places still old powder.

Wind from the south from midday, with strong winds in exposed locations.

Overall impression

Schattige Varianten am Obertauern ausgelotet und ein paar nette Schwünge mitgenommen - mein Eindruck, es geht, war schön, Schneelage ist aber weiterhin ausbaufähig. Persönliches Highlight: absoluter stiller Winterwald.
