Short tour on the north-east side of the Hochkönigstock to check the conditions. In the morning, hard hardpack, which then softened up nicely in the course of the morning. Then slushy at midday. Unfortunately, it closed up quite a bit in the late morning. Very little snow, only a few tours really make sense. Especially the classic firn tours on the south side look brutally bad.
