Snow report Bregenzerwald, 03/08/2014

Der Frühling kommt in großen Schritten. Im Tal blüht der Krokus auf dem Berg beginnen die Frühjahressymptome.

Nothing new. The grass is slowly coming out again on the southern slopes up to 2000m. But on the northern slopes it's quite fine.

Everything you can find. Perfect set powder, first firn, ice cover, broken harsh snow. North-facing slopes from around 1600m were still quite usable today. South was difficult.

Risks

Everything is very relaxed. I wouldn't worry too much at the moment at high altitudes. Time for the steep projects where possible.

Best day of touring for me since November. The crowds were out and everything was destroyed inbound. But there was still a lot to do off-piste and you can still find plenty of good slopes. Up the mountain and seize the opportunity. It puts a beautiful glow on your face - see photos =)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
