Engelberg: High temperatures, not too much snow and forecast looking pretty dry. But still enjoyable skiing to be found.

Schneelage
Very thin snow pack for this time of season. Lots of visible rocks on the basic routes and also a lot of hidden ones right under the surface. No offpist-skiing below ~1800m. Snow level at Brunni is almost 1800m as you can see in the picture.
Schneequalität
Suprisingly good for the amount of snowfall. Pretty much everything is still soft and skiable although tracked out many times. No icy bumps or anything. South faces that get sun light are very wet and the top layer is sliding easily. High temperatures have caused wet snow avalanches even on north faces like in the photo (North face @ 1700m).
Warnzeichen
Everything higher up seems pretty solid at the moment excluding the wet top layer on southern aspects. If something goes it probably goes from the ground level. Lower down you might get wet snow avalanches on all aspects because of the recent high temps.
Gesamteindruck
Totally skiable snow above 2000m. With this amount of snowfall you might expect hardpack and icy bumps but there is lots of soft turns to be found as long as you go high. More open areas have received some harsh winds so thin cover on top is possible.
