Easily rideable in valleys around 800m on the north side. Forest unfortunately not without any doubts, thinner OK, denser oh dear.
Snow quality
Top snow. The downer: there was only about 20cm last Thursday and it was on a hard to rock-hard snow surface, sometimes even bare ice. Here you can get through depending on the conditions. No carefree skiing possible, especially not if you hit the ice from one moment to the next.
Risks
Since a few days a single. This allows you to ski the Hochgrat from left to right on the entire northern flank, sometimes even beyond 45 degrees.
Overall impression
Super days since last Friday, now really steep too. We made a few dozen tracks in the flank from left to right. Unfortunately, as written above, no 5 stars, as the harsch cover makes for some unpleasant surprises, but still 4 stars because these lines are very, very rare. Often only a few days per season. If at all, we usually ski directly on the central rib here...
