Users of our website on which the Facebook plugin ("Like" button) is installed are hereby informed that the plugin establishes a connection to Facebook, whereby a transmission is made to your browser so that the plugin appears on the website. Furthermore, by using the plugin, data is forwarded to the Facebook servers, which contain information about your website visits to our homepage. For logged-in Facebook users, this means that the usage data is assigned to your personal Facebook account.

Functions of the Instagram service are integrated on our pages. These functions are offered by Instagram Inc, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking on the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Instagram.

SIGNING IN WITH GOOGLE OR APPLE
You can sign in to our website and our app with your Google account or your Apple ID. If you choose this option, you are redirected to the Google or Apple sign-in page. You enter your password there; we never receive it.
Once you agree, the provider sends us the following data: a unique identifier for your account, your email address and your name. With Apple, you can hide your email address. We then receive a relay address generated by Apple. Apple only shares your name at the first sign-in, and only if you allow it.
We use this data solely to create your PowderGuide user account and to sign you in. We store the account identifier, your email address, your name and a username derived from them. If your email address is already registered with us, we do not link the accounts automatically. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the user account). We keep the data for as long as your user account exists. You can request its deletion at any time using the contact details in our imprint.
The providers are Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland. Data may be transferred to the USA in the process. Both companies are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can revoke PowderGuide's access at any time in your Google account or Apple ID settings.
