Thanks to countless snow-making machines, it was enough to ski on the piste down to the valley station - but that was it! Away from the slopes, hiking boots would have been more appropriate ;)

Slope: Rather icy, but also nice and grippy in places If you find a patch of snow off-piste: Heavy snow, partly covered with a layer of harsh snow
Risks
"Where there is no snow - there are no avalanches" may sound simplistic and unprofessional, but in St. Johann the only danger comes from crazy ski tourers or the snowmaking equipment on the slopes.
Overall impression
The snow conditions were more reminiscent of "swimming trunks time" but it was enough for a bit of skiing on the slopes...
