Snow condition
Quite decent, even if it has rained a lot at lower altitudes. The usual tours are possible and stone contact is rare.
Snow quality
Unfortunately mostly bad. Lots of broken snow, sometimes completely hard. Some heavy powder snow only at the highest altitudes. Below 2000m on the south side partly firn-like, but not quite frozen yet, so that's also difficult.
Risks
Critical, in addition to the drift snow, you also have to watch out for sliding snow. It's remarkable what has already come down.
Overall impression
Nice weather after all. Snow quality unfortunately way down.
