Moderate to little at the bottom. Up to 1000m you can only slide down on favorably exposed slopes or toboggan runs. From about 1300m you can go into the forest, above 1500 it's above average.

Still quite funky. It's best in the high forest, where there's settled, soft snow. Above that, almost everything is wind-pressed, in the lower areas it's hard. At the bottom there was still some nice slush.

Risks

Strong winds are causing drifts, but the snow cover is already very compact overall. Sliding snow is definitely an issue further down, I've also seen bigger snow mouths. LLB issued a 1 for Bavaria.

Overall impression

Nice short tour in warm temperatures and strong winds at the top of the ridge. Very cool snow in the upper forest, overall it's often very windy above the tree line.
Pictures will unfortunately only be available tomorrow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
