Still incredibly bad. About 5 cm have fallen from yesterday to today, but of course that has no effect - you can't do any meaningful ski tours in Berchtesgadener Land, just a bit of sliding around on meadows or ski slopes. But even there, you can always get through more or less.
Snow quality
Piste-like conditions. Otherwise heavily rutted. Lots of stones, wood, grass and leaves.
Risks
No snow, no avalanches. In the Bavarian LLB there is a 1 everywhere, the Salzburg situation report speaks of a 2 in the higher elevations due to old snow and drift snow problems in the northern sector, I can't really imagine that you could ski anywhere there.
Overall impression
The atmosphere suffers from the dramatic lack of snow in the NE.
A lot has to happen for something to be done in the region.
On the very few things where you can slide around a bit with the use of equipment, there are incredible crowds.
The clouds and the sugared trees were sometimes nice. For the companion, it was also the first time on skis in 2 years after a lengthy injury.
