Not much difference compared to the beginning of December. There's still not much in the very dense forest, otherwise it's absolutely good enough in the forest and there are already some really nice pillows. In the ridges, the foehn storm is still blowing things off. But we were only out in the forest today.

Snow quality

Not super duper fluffy but otherwise very good, no wind influence noticeable when riding. There were a few full noses.

Risks

We were only in the forest and just above 2000m. At an edge of the terrain in the transition to a small slope, a 20 m long crack. Otherwise no acute danger signs. But that's enough. Watch out tomorrow! It's not without reason that the warning service points out so clearly that it will be very critical tomorrow. You shouldn't leave the forest tomorrow, but there are avalanches here too!

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

A good day! The quality was not the very best otherwise there would be another star. Very solid 3 stars!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
