Let's be honest, there's nothing left of the natural snow. The off-piste area is back in reset mode, to the point where the freeriders on the slopes are shaking hands to greet each other. In other words, NOTHING is working.

In the morning, the artificial snow is hard as a board and celebrated by young skiers in uniform clothing. But from 12:00 noon it gets fun for the ladies and gentlemen with expandable piste performance: early morning snow conditions prevail. Never heard the word!

Risks

Over the course of the week, there seem to have been a few more slides. One of them looked very fresh. The snow cover is not closed, there is 0-50cm of snow between the rocks in places. The soaking must be very advanced for the last remnants to come loose and slide off like boards. Surprising for me in that respect, as I would have been the last person to expect such an event in this snow situation. But well, you can only ski on the piste anyway.

Nice to see old faces again after the summer. Keep working on your technique and be back home for coffee!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
