Snow condition
The snow conditions away from the pistes are almost frighteningly poor. Most of the ridges are free of snow. South-facing slopes only covered with individual patches of snow and hardly any continuous snow cover on the north side either. No snow in the terrain from the middle station onwards. Very little artificial snow on the pistes too. There are always brown patches and stones on the slopes. The valley runs are open, but very hard and sometimes very narrow. However, many slopes are not yet open and some lifts in Switzerland are still closed.
Snow quality
Off-piste, wind-influenced snow. Artificial snow with a very hard base on the slopes, many piles of artificial snow pushed together in the afternoon.
Risks
Anyone who finds lines in the terrain is already very creative. I see the biggest danger in the rocks that stick out everywhere.
Overall impression
Good for the overall situation on the slopes in Tyrol. In my opinion, you haven't lost anything in the terrain yet, even if some very committed skiers are looking for paths on patches of snow between rocks. You still need a lot of snow here to even think about mediocre freeriding.
