From PP at 1000m enough for ascent and descent. Higher than 1,300m there was enough snow in the forest and not just on forest roads. Between 1,800 -1,500 really good snow conditions, no sharks, everything snowed in. But: The wind had blown the wind gap down to the grass.

Snow quality

Set powder on the north slope, top quality thanks to the shade and sheltered location. The east-facing slopes we skied later were briefly wet powder in the sun, but then dry dust again in the shade.

Risks

Loose snow slides visible in the sunny south and SE steep slopes. Ascent went over snow-covered old avalanche cone. Fresh snow seemed to be well connected to the old snow cover.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

Sun, good snow, and despite a descent followed by an ascent, we were just ahead of the bigger crowds. Today, thanks to the Karwendel, the scenery was mega, so I give it 4 stars.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
