Kurze Nachmittagstour mit 20cm fresh & warmen Temperaturen...

Snow condition
Of course, the snowfall from yesterday and the weekend is helping, especially the high altitudes are "better" than they have been for a long time, but there's very little snow at the bottom, so downhill skiing is out of the question. Downhill skiing is still possible up to 1000m on the shaded side, and on the south side it's also very bad at the top.
Snow quality
Still very good on the shady side above 1500m, but as soon as the sun comes into play, it's very bumpy or already overcast, and unfortunately very slow and sticky at the bottom.
Risks
I was only up to 1800m, and even there, if not strictly on the shaded side, there was already noticeable settlement. Steeper high altitudes were also skied, but you should certainly be careful there.
Overall impression
It was quite nice, but the late start time and the low altitude diminished the whole thing a bit.
An early tour in the high altitudes would have been better today. I'm curious to see how warm it will be tomorrow...Comments
