Snow condition
There is now a good base in the ski area. Some variants are only possible to a limited extent. Pines are not yet completely covered in snow. Most of the streams are closed. Tours are possible from the valley. Something is still missing in the forest. You can ski well, there are two skiers in the group today with skis on the way. classic slopes have completely disappeared over the last few days. The Lorenzi valley is completely full of avalanche cones
Snow quality
Low and light. Towards noon it became a little heavier on the south side, but hardly noticeable. The sinking depth is significantly lower. Unfortunately not enough for face shots.
Risks
Still critical. There were also a lot of worm noises in the forest during the course of the day, and in the ski area there were cracks and slopes in places that have probably been stable for decades, with a very large 200x200m area of sliding snow forming under the lift. Impressive to observe throughout the day. It's also exciting that many skiers still ski over this surface. The picture shows the condition in the morning. In the afternoon it was the whole slope.
Overall impression
Super day, lots of options again. There are still plenty of options for the next few days.
