Absolutely brilliant on every descent. From yesterday to today another 30 to 40cm of cold powder. We were only out in the forest again today and it was just as well.
Snow quality
Cold, loose and very deep. Sometimes even too deep. The storm blew into the forest and created a winter wonderland. With enough speed, it was really cool to ride. Despite the bad weather, there was quite a lot going on today and unfortunately it was very rough from midday onwards.
Risks
Drift snow deep into the forest. The avalanche report was at 4 and that's how it looked. Avoid open slopes at all costs. I wouldn't be surprised if it rises to 5 in the next few days.
Overall impression
Lungs burning from the cold powder say it all.
