Snow condition

Still very good snow conditions in the Berchtesgaden basin. Strong tendency towards 5 stars.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

Still very deep. However, the fresh snow in the middle areas is slightly damp, but still a lot of fun. Around 10-20cm fell overnight. That's not enough to make the old tracks disappear, but it doesn't matter because everything underneath is soft. If you get too shallow (see picture 3), you have to dig your way out.

Risks

It's ok in the middle forest: Homogeneous, deep snow cover, but now very wet in the lower elevations, probably drifting snow at the top, continue to watch out for snow breakage!

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

Beautiful, only somewhat short morning ride in the winter wonderland.
Since everything is nice and soft and deep, it's really fun to shoot through everywhere. You need speed though, otherwise it gets tedious.
All in all, pleasantly little going on, nothing off-road anyway.
Let's see what happens tonight/morning...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
