The fresh snow from the day before yesterday has settled considerably due to the warm temperatures and the rain. Nevertheless, the overall snow conditions are excellent.
Snow quality
Much better than first thought. In the morning, we still had a cover on the south side up to around 2,000 meters, which was still there at midday. But the snow above was great to ski on.
Risks
The entanglements were clearly visible and should be avoided, as should steep terrain. Old cracks were still visible in the steep terrain and some had already been blown over again. Caution!
Overall impression
Nice, defensive tour that was much better than expected in terms of snow....
