The locals say there's very little snow and there's certainly not enough on the south-facing slopes for free-skiing. But you can get up and down through the forest into the valley.

Snow quality

East is strong laws like pure powder. South is much heavier and west is slightly encrusted as it gets the most intense radiation in the Gams. If you stick to the north (only in the wrong direction, see below) and east you can cruise nicely. Otherwise it's more of a cramp

Risks

There is not much. Some south-facing slopes are sliding as fish mouths, but generally there is not enough snow at lower elevations. Nevertheless, the sensitive old snow layer from the north and northwest slopes is being reported from higher elevations 2500+.

Overall impression

If you can cruise, that's great and if you can hang out solo in a hut that should be fully booked, that's also great. If you now had a bit more light to ski down and warm feet at night, there would have been a lot here.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
