The first slope on the approach is free of snow. There is still a lot of snow in the cirque itself. Difficult access by bike due to many snow banks in the valley path from Monialm.
Snow quality
Not frozen through at night. Easy to ski at the top thanks to the steepness, then slower summer firn at the bottom.
Risks
No sliding snow mouths or danger signs on the tour, but older wet snow avalanche cones off the route.
Overall impression
Biking, walking, ski tour. Strenuous but beautiful mountain experience at the end of winter, we didn't need the drizzle on the way back...
