Just about three stars, but only because it's white almost all the way to the bottom. Unfortunately, the quantities up to the very top are not very large. At 900 m approx. 20 - 30 cm, below that really only cosmetics. Above that, far from any record amounts, 60 - 80 cm at most. As long as it stays this cold (-7 degrees today at 1200 m), no problem. Quite good as a basis for further snowfall. However, if it rains again, things will look pretty bad very quickly.

Snow quality

The finest powder snow and glistening ice crystals in the air all day long - that looks great. But the base is rock hard!

Risks

The cornices now seem to be well consolidated due to the moisture and the extreme cold. The snow cover is also well consolidated by the recent rain.

Dream day first on the slopes, then on touring skis. Now we need another load of fresh snow!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
