Still great from the parking lot. From approx. 1,600m onwards, fresh snow begins to accumulate and increases with altitude.

The tour was in a north-easterly exposure and in the shade from 1,600m. Up to 1,600m the snow cover was frozen, from then on there was a clean layer of powder which increased towards the summit (2,100m) and averaged around 15cm (also mixed with existing snow and drift snow). The wind was almost inactive, which is why the conditions have improved considerably >> solid surface instead of wind-pressed harsch cover

Risks

The greatest danger is the accumulation of drift snow near the crest. No boards to be seen, where the wind is active it will certainly be the limit in hollows and steep gullies.

Worlds better compared to Friday. The fresh snow at around 2,000 meters has worked "small miracles". A mixture of tracked old snow, fresh snow cover of up to 15cm and snow embedded from the west side in a shady slope -> the most beautiful tour in the Allgäu so far. For all those who have no plans for tomorrow: we have still left room for new tracks.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
