About 10cm of fresh snow fell overnight yesterday (from about 1100m). (From about 1100m) In many areas (especially sunny areas), however, there was no base left, and if there was old snow, then a maximum of about 10 cm. as usual - gentle, north-facing meadows go with difficulty, but you can get through from time to time (especially in untracked terrain).

The fresh snow is cold, light and fluffy, but not enough. Everything underneath (if there is any) is relatively hard. Tw is also alternating on a small scale, you have to be concentrated on your skis, and since there's not much going on overall, most of it was already tracked this afternoon.

Risks

None. (At least at medium altitudes) Watch out for ice, stones and the like.

Overall impression

The beautiful winter light and the snow-covered trees even gave me a kind of tentative winter feeling again, but at the same time I was also slightly frustrated... Many people were out and about today (before me) - almost nothing else is possible (maybe 2-3 tours are "possible" in the BGD area).

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
