Wet fresh snow. Skis on and off at just under 1000m, 5cm there, fresh snow rising to approx. 15cm at 1,600m. One contact with the enemy on the descent. Wintery, everything white today, despite the low altitude.

Wet but loose enough to ride well and also go without cleats today.
Risks
Loose snow slide in over 40 degree steep terrain caused by skiers, extensive but not very thick.
Overall impression
Still winter in Bavaria, all bike trails covered in deep snow or in the rain...so a nice lunchtime ride in the snow. Visibility ok. Another possibly last tour...
