Schlechter Schnee, aber immerhin nicht viel davon!

Snow condition
Here in Hochfügen, too, there is really frighteningly little snow. Everything you see in the surrounding area doesn't look any better, and with difficulty two stars, as off-piste skiing is possible in rather snow-covered areas above the tree line. But this is only possible because the snow is currently quite hard and dense, so even the 20cm or so that is common here is enough... Ridges, ridges etc. are often completely blown off, some areas are slowly drying out thanks to the high temperatures.
Snow quality
Pretty bad. It rained up to about 2000m, where there was a light crust of rain that was easy to break through. In general, almost everything was wind-affected, the drift snow mostly hard, towards 2500m in wind-calm areas (there are hardly any) then partly heavier but still soft drift snow. All in all bad, then slushy further down in the afternoon.
Risks
Critical. Lots of wind, practically everything blown over. Very wet snow, quickly soaked further down. Some wet snow slides can be seen. I would stay away from steep terrain at the moment.
Overall impression
At least the weather was nice. However, there was also a strong wind today, which also brought more snow, at least in the ridge areas...
