Snow condition
In the meantime, you can no longer complain. The base is good. Just under 1.5m on an open surface (measured)
Snow quality
Very fine! Dusty, light - towards the evening in the lower altitudes a noticeable lid on it.
Risks
Watch out! Since I forgot my skins, I dug around a bit and had a look at the layers. 20cm loose from yesterday, underneath another 10-15cm well set and connected from last week. 5 cm of hard fusion crust. Then it gets exciting: 2cm of fine sleet, rime, whatever. It forms a super sliding layer. Below that, the base is just under 80cm long, quite uniform and well bonded. There was sluff today in all variants +-30°.
Overall impression
The weather block has been talking about EAST all week. Today can be classified as SOST (Very Optimal Ski Day). Now we're excited to see what the week brings.
