A few centimetres of fresh snow the day before yesterday don't make the snow conditions any better, we need some significant fresh snow, but unfortunately there's nothing in sight. The usual routes on the Nebelhorn are skiable, but not all of them are worthwhile. The best one was towards Gundkopf, but the snow for the traverse soon became scarce at the top. The pines are not closed. You should still watch out for sharks. Further west, as in Kleinwalsertal, better snow conditions.

Powder only in the shade, it was quite warm at the top today. Everything that got a few hours of sun is now hard to wet but still ok to ride until early afternoon. Wind has left its mark. Changing snow surface soft/light wind cover/hard old snow. But was still on the fun side, not on the technical side. On the north side it may be 3 stars, but I wasn't actually out there, so 2.

Risks

Today you could also ride steep things. In the afternoon, you only had to watch out for self-made wet snowballs. Observed a sliding snow mouth and a small sliding snow slide, both between north and west. The blasting on the green slope triggered small slides that didn't reach the piste for a long time. Maximum height of 20cm in the blown-in area.

Bomb weather and not as busy as expected. Nice lines and a new board that I really liked straight away. It was good!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
