hmmmm... today in the ski resort and still quite different snow conditions to my last CR. i would give it 2.5. it's a base that doesn't quite reach in the dense forest and you can still get through to the ground. otherwise ok, but not great either. expo on tour was N/NE though, today more W /NW.

interesting snow to ride. felt a bit dull, but sprayed well. there were a few faceshots today. in the afternoon with the sunshine and warming, the snow became noticeably heavier on the sunny sides.

Risks

it was interesting that you hardly noticed anything of the wind in the ski area, only a bit here and there and at most at the tree line in the light forest. all around you could see the impressive work of the wind very well in the high mountains. after a small cliff drop in the forest, the snow cover tore to the ground on landing, but only moved 1-2m.

great day. hardly any competition and still found more than enough untracked snow. with a slightly better base and if the snow hadn't felt a bit dull, it would have been 5 stars.
