Snow condition

4 von 5 Sterne

Sufficient snow on forest roads from the start at 850m, in the forest I would only drive downhill above 1300m. Today 10cm of fresh snow from the cold front. Sufficient snow without shark alerts, even in places with windy conditions.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Quality of the fresh snow good, but more would be more again. Old snow heavily settled and initially damp due to the foehn, now frozen through.

Risks

Old snow cover frozen through and little fresh snow and quite well connected. Clear signs of wind from the Föhn in the summit slope, I didn't see much transportation by westerly winds. Old avalanche cones from steep watercourses visible, but certainly several days old. LWS Bavaria was a 2 today.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Was early and skied quite nicely. However, hard wind gnarls in the summit slope and deeper in the following slope, often breaking through on old tracks. In the forest, as far as sufficient altitude, top pow. It was a good new ski day.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
