Snow condition
Above 1400m, still quite good on the snow side. Below that it's white again, but without a base, so you should be well informed about the old snow conditions.
Snow quality
Top. At the top it was nice and fluffy with a face sprinkling. Getting a bit warmer towards the bottom, but still great, the old snow cover sometimes comes through towards the bottom, but doesn't bother much.
Risks
Relatively manageable in the middle elevations up to the tree line. The slightly moist fresh snow lies loosely on the compact old snow cover. Hardly any wind and no visible drifts. Above the tree line, however, things certainly look different. I would also avoid very steep sides facing the radiation, but there is a risk of snow breakage and numerous sharks below!
Overall impression
Bomb day with a great winter feeling and super snow.
The only thing that wasn't so great was the carrying route below and the numerous sharks that were now lurking in the lower elevations.
No people seen, but countless birds that had probably been pushed down from the higher altitudes and were not deterred from singing by the onset of winter... :)
