Overall, there was very little snow and what little there was blew away. It's enough to get up from the parking lot at 1200 m, but for downhill skiing it's only quite a bit higher up, and only in the tree line area in the sparse forest can you find an acceptable amount and quality of snow. Skiing down to the valley only makes sense on snow-covered slopes.

In the SE to NE exposition, the snow was mostly blown over with a layer of harsh snow. In hollows and gullies there was rarely a better turn.

Risks

Further up, the wind has shifted the snow quite a bit, but overall it's not very tense. But ski tours aren't really worthwhile anyway.

Overall impression

Bad/no snow, but beautiful scenery and relatively little going on, so it was fine. A tour with a piste for at least the lower part of the descent would probably have been smarter.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
