Snow condition
In the Engadin, the snow conditions above 2500m are sufficient for off-piste tours. I would stay away from the glaciers as the crevasses are not yet sufficiently closed. On the Bernan Pass you could start from around 2200m. At Corvatsch today we were able to start directly on the piste (15cm compact) at 1900m. This will change in the next few days as the weather improves. We were already able to ski well off-piste up to 2300m. At the top there is around 70cm-100cm of compact base
Snow quality
Unfortunately warmer than expected up to 2700m you can still find 5-10cm of wind-influenced powder on the north side underneath, partly load-bearing (rain) crust or slowing wet snow from 2200m turning into slush.
Risks
Drifting snow should be taken into account, especially on the north/west side, as the base is well set, but the coming snowfall will cause a real problem on the north side after the sunny warm phase.
Overall impression
Opening of the ski touring season with descents to the parking lot on Sunday Lagalb and Monday Corvatsch. Awesome crew almost nothing going on in the area. Even got some powder sun and views today. November was already better but also much worse. The main thing is to have fun
