From ~ 1,200m, tours from the parking lot are very possible. Got through without contact with the ground. Only in the forest does it look lean in places.

Snow quality

In general: beautiful powder where the sun doesn't attack. In northern exposure you can have real fun from 1,500m. Watch out for drifts and drifting snow. On the south side of the Ifen, the snowpack was already heavily influenced by the sun from 11am. Very difficult to ski below 1,800m.

Risks

Two in Vorarlberg can be confirmed. Drift snow in large quantities in places, especially on the northern slopes. Observe the diurnal warming on south-facing slopes.

Solid tour. If you're looking, you'll find it in Kleinwalsertal. Especially the "snow at the parking lot" advantage outweighs the rest of the Allgäu. Around the Schwarzwasserhütte, however, others have also smelled the roast, so it looks difficult with virgin snow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
