Due to the strong wind, many areas with significantly less snow again. Ridges are heavily blown away. But in very sheltered areas there is already about 20cm of fresh snow. Descents into the valley at 2000m above sea level are possible. However, the snow depths vary greatly.

Snow quality

Also strongly influenced by the wind and varying. It is very cold -8°C, but the snow is no longer very fluffy due to the wind. But it's easy to drive without a lid.

Risks

According to the LLB level 3, the fresh snow packs described in the LLB are certainly present. Signs of wind can be seen everywhere. The snow cover is also brittle due to the wind and clods are forming. We have not seen any boards. The wind was blowing strongly at over load strength.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

With a bit of intuition for the areas sheltered from the wind, you can still find good snow that is also suitable for face shots. However, the wind is very present and has almost pushed the rating down to 2 stars.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
