Frighteningly bad. You can still get as far as Trübsee without coming into contact with rocks and go to Steinberg or Sulz without any problems, but you can't do it for long. Frighteningly little snow on the glacier above. The big avalanche has cleared almost everything and many crevasses are open. It's not just because of the avalanche that bare ice peeps out from time to time. I don't suspect anything good for this summer. Even compared to my last visit to the Titlis two years ago, quite a lot of ice has been lost, especially in the area of the valley station of the T-bar lift on the Titlis/start of the Rotegg route and on the Steinberg...

Partly still a bit powdery on the glacier, otherwise hard in the morning and then mostly nice and soft from 11 onwards. Great fun! But then unfortunately slow on the way down.

Risks

Everything is pretty well solidified. As almost no snow has fallen recently, the main danger comes from the crevasses on the Titlis.

Spring/summer in the valley, winter on the glacier. Beautiful weather and good but very little snow and not much going on. Beautiful Variant day on the Titlis
