Snow report Tannheimer Valley, 03/29/2018
Nach Regen etwas Schnee

Snow condition
Rain on Wednesday / Thursday has melted the snow. But still enough to get down to the valley on skis on the classic tours in the Tannheimer Tal. Snow depths on the mountain more than sufficient
Snow quality
Rain up to 2000 meters yesterday, Wednesday. Snow cover heavily soaked. Some fresh snow again today with 2 cm in the valley - 10 cm on the mountain. Snow was a bit sticky and heavy but still fun to ride.
Risks
Some massive wet snow avalanches have already started. Sliding snow is still to be expected on steep meadow slopes.
Overall impression
At the start of the Feierabend Tour, it started to snow and sleet heavily. Visibility rather poor... When we arrived at the Bschießer summit, the sun peaked out briefly. The clouds and fog cleared. And the descent through one of the gullies is really fun. Watch out for some massive cornices.
