Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne

Very variable snow conditions. If you want to protect your equipment, only 1 star. Stone contact can hardly be avoided. Entrances to gullies are for the most part hardly covered in snow. You can often get through the sides of the gullies and on the valley descents you will often find 40cm of built-up snow on rocks... The hikes to the variants are often a little reminiscent of climbing tours. On the south side, there is obviously no snow for the most part. But in the gullies it's ok.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

You can already find good, hardly influenced snow in north-facing gullies above 2000m. But everything else from cover to sulz as well. Often very variable in one run.

Risks

According to the LLB, over 2000 m level 2, we could hardly observe any avalanche activity or danger signs. Nevertheless, the structure in some gullies felt strange. On the north side, there is still some floating snow near the bottom.

Overall impression

Freeriding is possible and a few turns were also good. Overall, however, still too little snow to ride without the handbrake.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
