Skitour im Diemtigtal - Viel Huiis und Pfuiis

Snow condition
On arrival I was still skeptical as to whether there would be enough snow for our tour. The starting point was at 1162 m, the destination (Wiriehore) at 2299 m. At the bottom there was about 20-30 cm of fresh snow on the ground, no base available, and from 1400 m it was already deeper, and we continued to search in vain for a proper base. Thanks to the storm, we only made it to the upper edge of the forest. The snow was quite good here, but it was really blown away.
Snow quality
Due to the very warm temperatures, the snow was already very wet and heavy at the bottom. Further up and in many shady sections it was still nice and fluffy and soft and led to some huiis. I am happy to give 3 stars for this.
Risks
According to SLF level 2, we chose a fairly easy and flat tour with western exposure and were unable to observe any activity on it. Neither on our slope nor on the neighboring slopes.
Overall impression
You had to pay close attention to how you made your turns, as you quickly kissed the ground with your skis. The handbrake was always on in any case. The snow was really good to ski on in most sections and there was hardly anything going on. As the weather was at least as beautiful as the Diemtigtal, I give it 3 stars overall.
