Frühjahrstouren mit Tipp Topp Firn

Snow condition
These temperatures are a bit strange for February - but otherwise the snow conditions are still quite good in the Walsertal valley on the south side. Still possible in the northern expos.
Snow quality
So the current trump card is firn. Tonight's perfect radiation ensured good firn conditions, depending on the slope expo (east, south, southeast) around 10-12 o'clock. Tip top firn - "we call it pfirn" In nut above 1800 still some powder in wind-calmed north-facing slopes and hollows otherwise north expos capping powder and harsch
Risks
Relaxed - early start obligatory.
Overall impression
Another beautiful firn day in a little frequented side valley of the Walsertal.
