Belchen oben ohne - ein Berg zieht blank

Overall impression
Snow condition
The three stars are only awarded for locations above 1000 meters and western and partly northern slopes. For the rest there are only 2 stars for this time of year and at the very top the Belchen is almost bare, pretty unsexy for a mountain.
Snow quality
Here, too, you can give between one and a maximum of four stars. Strongly wind-pressed, especially on east-facing slopes, fluffy and light on west-facing slopes where the snow has remained.
Risks
The snow that is missing at the top is loose and not at all harmless on the western slopes. As soon as you look at it, you feel like sliding with it. There is also the same pattern of hazards from the early season: stones, trees and other obstacles that are no longer under the thick blanket of snow.
Overall impression
Beautiful, super stormy sunrise tour. At -14 degrees and 100km/h, you arrive at the summit well tempered and can enjoy the silence with a warm tea.... not. I was about to ski down with skins so that I wouldn't have to fight with two sticky, flapping skins at the top. Most of the people who went up before or with me stopped at the Belchenhaus and didn't go any further up. They certainly weren't CRers :)
