But it's remarkable what's come down since Friday night. At around 1700m there's a little more than half a meter, and depending on the wind, the ski poles can sink completely in the ridges. I was able to ski down to 700m in the valley today, on meadows and forest tracks. It snowed lightly to moderately all day until shortly after 1600 hrs, so that in the evening there was maybe 20cm at the bottom of the valley. With an anticipatory driving style and handbrake, which was on by itself today thanks to the quality of the snow, there was virtually no contact with the ground.

Not exactly awesome. Very heavy, wet snow at the bottom above the ground and yet quite far up. Once you get in here, there's not much left. Nice powder at the top, unfortunately more cosmetic.

Risks

Unproblematic on rough terrain. Further up and steeper on ridges, however, not without problems. Massive drifts have formed.

I was very surprised by the quantity, unfortunately the quality of the snow was in great need of improvement...At the end there was even a bit of visibility - beautiful.
