Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne

Still okay on the north side, but clearly less than in other years. On the south side below 2100 there's really nothing to be had. Around Arabba and the Marmolada it tends to be better than in Val Gardena or Val Badia, but not exactly exhilarating either (info from yesterday, skiing around the Sella massif)

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

It snowed about 20cm this week (maybe a little more further south), which makes for soft snow on the north side, but only in a few places sheltered from the wind, otherwise not too thick or hard snow cover.

Risks

It is only a two-person route, but due to the influence of the wind and the fresh snow, there were still a few entanglements, which are easy to recognize, but depending on the choice of tour in gullies, are naturally not easy to avoid.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

If you stay on the north side and find corners sheltered from the wind, you will still get your money's worth.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
