perfect, enough snow "car to car". on the way unlimited free choice of line possible. no shark caught.
Snow quality
on the south side it's already springtime, starting in the morning hours. in the afternoon there's quite a massive cover. on the north side you can still find well-set pow, everywhere where the sun isn't shining in yet. untracked, however, is slowly becoming difficult, or rather exhausting. in the couloir sometimes slightly wind-capped and also often pow on a hard layer of hard snow. overall, however, still very rewarding. currently there are about 10 tracks in it.
Risks
except for one gliding snow run, expo nw, approx. 1800m, i didn't notice anything that speaks against the vorarlberg 2er. generally quite safe conditions and a well-set, quite stable snow cover. i was out today below 2200m, mainly in the expos s and n.
Overall impression
it wasn't 4 stars today. from about 14h onwards there were dense veil clouds. then soon a bad ceiling on the south side. overall. but a great ski tour, with a couloir that you don't ski every day anyway and then by-fair-means. a very nice end to the year, with 3 stars.
