Still very good. Yesterday there was between 30 and 50 cm of fresh snow in the Capcir (Les Angles and Formigueres), in the Cerdagne on the border with Spain it was considerably less. Today it snowed until about 12 noon, then it briefly turned to rain at 1800 m above sea level. It has been snowing lightly again since this afternoon. At the top it's been alternating between sun and snowfall all day.

Below 2000 m everything is now soaked, no more powder. Further up it's still going very well, even if the wind has once again blown very strongly from the NW and compacted the fresh snow.

Risks

Tense. Avalanche blasts were heard all day, so it was better to stay on the piste or in very flat terrain. The massive soaking of the snowpack must have caused a lot of snow to come off. It's been a lot cooler again since this evening, so the brief rain was good for the overall stability of the snowpack.

Badest day so far, even if that's complaining on a high level. Powder skiing in the ski area is still fun. Well, skiing in the rain wasn't all that great, but it was really nice at the top with the fresh snow. Now it's supposed to stay cool for 2 days, then get much warmer. Not much precipitation in sight for now.
