Tour start possible from 1700m without any problems. Very good snow conditions for November. Good snow conditions even a little below the tree line. At 2500 m there is about 1.5 m of snow. Ridges and ridges in the summit area often free or very rocky and sharky

Snow quality

From surfy old powder to fairy dust in a few sheltered north-eastern corners to a light melting crust in the southern sector, there was a bit of everything. You have to drive with foresight to adapt to the respective situation. Much better than expected in any case.

Risks

No slippery snouts seen. Only 2 old loose snow avalanches. Otherwise a lot of drift snow that seemed to be a bit settled, especially at lower elevations... but not to be underestimated. The cornices are big and the wind has moved north...

Fine first ski tour of the season. Due to the avalanche situation, the descent was rather flat but still rewarding. The basis for the winter is there.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
