Quite ok, but there is constant contact with the ground on ridges and crests, and occasionally in open terrain. Careful off-piste skiing is certainly possible, however, and the overall amount of snow is appropriate for the time of year.
Snow quality
Very good powder snow, especially yesterday. A bit more settled today, but more frost on top. Still skiing very well.
Risks
Currently relaxed, but there is widespread surface frost and some deep frost has already formed. With the next snowfall (or simply with wind), avalanches are inevitable.
Overall impression
That was real skiing again in December. It felt like it hadn't been for years.
